The Opportunity

Reporting to an innovative Finance Manager and working within an established team led by a seasoned CFO, you will utilise your analytical skills while further developing your commercial analysis, business partnering, and relationship-building capability.

This opportunity would suit someone data-driven who is keen to be part of a larger organisation, or looking to transition from public practice into a commercial environment. We welcome applications from a range of experience levels. In this role, you will partner with operational leaders to deliver meaningful financial insights that influence decision-making and drive business performance.

The Role

  • Provide timely business partnering support and financial oversight to operational managers and internal stakeholders
  • Improve the quality of commercial analysis, decision support and management reporting 
  • Build strong working relationships and develop a solid understanding of business drivers 
  • Develop accurate and comprehensive budgets and forecasts
  • Develop and maintain financial systems and models to support business decisions
  • Drive process improvement through technology and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Contribute to ad hoc projects and business wide initiatives 

Your Profile

  • Demonstrated accounting experience supported by strong interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Relevant qualification (or working towards one); CA or CPA would be an advantage
  • A practical, solutions focused mindset and genuine interest in understanding operational drivers  
  • Willingness to partner with divisional managers to understand their business drivers and improve their financial acumen
  • Prepared to get into the details and assist in whatever way you need to support business decisions and business activity
  • Strong Excel and systems capability, with the drive to improve processes and ways of working.
