We seek a dynamic and dedicated Club Administrator to support and enhance the delivery of our club activities. 

This hybrid role averages 20 hours per week, with quieter weeks in the winter and busier periods over the summer. 

What You'll Do:

  • Keep our membership database current and ensure seamless communication with members.
  • Organise board meetings, prepare agendas and track and complete action points.
  • Oversee club events, bookings, and social activities, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
  • Assist in coordinating sports events, ensuring all entries and logistics are handled efficiently.
  • Support our Junior Surf programs, from event planning to managing team entries.
  • Maintain our website and keep the club in top shape.
  • Lead our merchandising efforts, from product design to inventory management.

We are seeking candidates who have:

  • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships at all levels.
  • Experience in community or sports is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Surf Life Saving or similar volunteer-based activities.
  • Proven capability in efficient and accurate administrative support.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Effective planning and project management abilities.
  • Outstanding organisational and time management skills, including the capacity to work independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
