Te Taiwhenua o Heretaunga is on the lookout for a skilled and passionate Clinical Manager to lead our Te Poutama Tautoko team – part of our kaupapa Māori Addictions and Mental Health Service. Our addictions service empowers individuals and their whānau with tools, knowledge and cultural supports to navigate their journey to wellness.

What you'll do

  • Lead and clinically support a team of Addictions Practitioners, ensuring safe, effective, and culturally responsive practice
  • Provide supervision and professional development to your team 
  • Ensure high standards of clinical care, documentation, and risk management 
  • Collaborate with whānau, community agencies, and funders to deliver holistic and integrated care 
  • Support continuous improvement and service innovation in line with kaupapa Māori values 
  • Contribute to strategic planning and reporting
     

What you bring

  • Current registration with DAPAANZ or a relevant clinical regulatory body under the HPCA Act 2003 
  • Proven leadership or senior clinical experience within the AoD or mental health sector 
  • Deep understanding of harm reduction, therapeutic modalities, and trauma-informed practice 
  • Commitment to kaupapa Māori approaches and tikanga 
  • Excellent communication, mentoring, and clinical oversight skills 
  • Full NZ Driver’s Licence
