We are seeking an exceptional Clinical Skills/Simulation Laboratory Assistant to join our highly motivated and supportive team. As a Clinical Skills/Simulation Laboratory Assistant, you will work closely with the wider Nurse Education Team. You will ensure equipment and supplies in the clinical skills labs and simulation rooms are maintained and enhance ākonga learning opportunities. The focus of your role will be the lab and simulation spaces, as part of this, you will ensure ākonga and the Nurse Education Team are aware of Health & Safety risks and orientated to the facilities. You will also have opportunities to be involved with a range of career expos and open days promoting UCOL programmes. 

While you will be based at the Manawatū campus, at times you will travel to the Whanganui and Wairarapa campuses at times to ensure equipment is maintained and stock levels are maintained.

· You are highly motivated, dynamic and engaging

· You are available to work across the UCOL Manawatū, Wairarapa and Whanganui campuses

· You are comfortable working with students

· You are proficient in digital literacy 

· Having a health-related qualification or related experience is preferred

· An ability to use technical equipment and an understanding of tertiary education would be an advantage
