Clinical Manager

Odyssey is now seeking applications for an experienced full-time permanent clinician and capable manager to head up our Alcohol & Other Drug Treatment Court (AODTC) team and service.
Working with a range of network partners, Odyssey provides addiction treatment services to the AODTC based whai ora in Auckland and Waitakere District Courts. You will be responsible for leading an enthusiastic, multi-disciplinary team who work in close collaboration with the AODTC to ensure the best possible outcomes for participants of this exciting and ground-breaking programme.
Your leadership and relationship management skills, cultural awareness and sound clinical judgement will be great assets in this fulfilling role.
In addition, you will ideally have:
- At least 2+ years relevant experience working in the AOD, mental health field and/or justice system
- Experience of assessing people with serious addiction and/or complex mental health issues
- A relevant level 7 tertiary qualification and full DAPAANZ registration
- Experience of leading and managing high performing teams
- Excellent relationship management and networking skills
- Skills and experience in a broad range of treatment modalities, including the Therapeutic Community model utilised by Odyssey
- Demonstrated understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles and their application to this role and knowledge of tikanga Māori
- A passion for supporting people to make positive changes in their lives
- A full current NZ driver’s license

- A $3000 per annum location allowance on top of salary + $572 annual meal allowance
