About the Role

As a cleaner and laundry assistant, you will ensure our facility is ship-shape. You'll keep the facility clean, hygienic and play part in creating a warm, healthy environment. The role will also require you to assist with some laundry duties. If you have previous experience in these roles then great! If not, don't worry! This is a permanent role (Working 54 hours per fortnight) 4 on 4 off rotating roster, 7am-2pm.

Some Duties include but not limited to:

• Clean client and communal areas within the facility
• Ensure appropriate infection control measures are utilised
• Restocking of paper products and personal protective equipment
• Assist with all laundry processing, i.e. sorting, washing to correct cycle, drying and folding 
• Follow all cleaning/laundry task list as per facility policy 
• Ensure that all tasks and check lists are completed and signed off

Skills and Experience 

• Flexible availability
• Has good organisational skills
• Great attention to detail
• A warm personality
• Has appropriate experience in the industry 
• Has a positive attitude, excellent people skills
