Class 5 Tanker Driver - Southland - Awarua

About us:
Open Country Dairy is New Zealand’s largest independent dairy processor and exporter of premium whole milk powder. We are currently seeking professional Class 5 truck drivers who take pride in their equipment to join the exceptional team at Open Country Dairy. Based in Awarua at the Open Country site, our pristine fleet and dedicated team ensure the safe and efficient transportation of our products from farms across the region.
📅 Roster: 2 days on, 2 nights on, followed by 4 days off
📆 Season: Dairy season runs August to May, with annualised hours—so you’ll have the option of paid time off in June and July

What you’ll be doing:
· Drive late-model Scania and Volvo tankers with care and professionalism
· Build strong, respectful relationships with our local farmers
· Be a reliable, positive contributor to a tight-knit, high-performing team
· Follow all health & safety protocols—no shortcuts, no compromises
What you’ll bring:
· Full, clean Class 5 licence
· Minimum 1 year truck & trailer experience
· Positive attitude, team player and strong work ethic
· Sound awareness of Health & safety best practice
· EROAD and M2X experience (a bonus)
