Class 1 Delivery Driver
We are looking for a suitable person to join our team at Bidfood Invercargill in the position of Class 1 delivery driver within the Southland area. This is a Monday to Friday role with occasional Saturday mornings . Hours of work vary on certain days but this position is a 6:00am Start with a 4.00pm finish.*
The primary responsibility of this role is to accurately deliver orders to our customers providing great customer service. We require specific focus on the following areas,
- Timely and accurate picking of customer orders
- Efficient and safe loading of our delivery vehicles
- Attention to detail - no short cuts
- Great communication skills including written and verbal
- Excellent driving skills
- Local knowledge of Southland Area
- Great customer service
- Can do - go getter attitude
Please make no mistake this is a physical job requiring urgency accompanied with accuracy.
This position requires individuals to be physically fit and healthy as there is frequent lifting of 20kg involved. Also working in a temperature controlled environment at temperatures of -25 degrees is also a requirement.
Must have a Full Class 1 Licence
