Cooke Howlison is preparing to launch the exciting Chery vehicle brand in Otago and is looking for motivated Brand Manager to lead the business.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of the launch of one of the automotive industry's fastest-growing brands. With an expanding range of vehicles, advanced technology and new EV powertrains, Chery is generating strong interest from New Zealand customers.
Based in our flagship Dunedin showroom, the Chery operation will feature a dedicated vehicle display, finance and after-sales support, reflecting Cooke Howlison's long-term commitment to the brand and to Otago.

About the role:
As Chery Brand Manager, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer experiences, strong sales performance and an efficient, profitable operation.
You will be a confident person and display professional skills who can lead by example, build strong customer relationships and work in a team to achieve results.
To be successful, you will have:
- Sales and customer management experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to prioritise, organise and deliver results
- Professional standards and a positive, team-focused approach
- The confidence and ability to lead by example
- A strong commitment to Health & Safety
- A current NZ driver's licence
- NZ residency or the right to work in New Zealand
Automotive experience would be an advantage, but we are also interested in candidates with strong transferable sales experience from other customer-focused industries.
