Rātā Café supports the commitment of Zealandia Te Māra a Tāne’s 500-year vision by offering thoughtfully sourced, seasonal food that caters to a range of dietary needs – all with warmth, flavour, and sustainability in mind.
We’re on the search for a passionate chef to join our tight-knit team. This is a hands-on role that requires creativity, consistency and care – someone who can work collaboratively with our Head Chef and Sous Chef to deliver high quality kai while aligning with our wider kaupapa.
You’ll thrive in this role if you:
· Are an experienced chef with confidence in both line and prep work
· Bring a passion for quality, locally-sourced and dietary-friendly food
· Enjoy working collaboratively in a small team environment
· Have great time management
· Are flexible, reliable and comfortable with seasonal menu changes and demands
