About the role

As a Chargehand, you’ll play a vital part in supporting our Shift Manager and Production Supervisor to coordinate and train floor staff. You’ll help maintain our high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency, ensuring our packhouse runs smoothly and our team delivers outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Co-ordinate packhouse floor staff between areas and lanes.
  • Train general floor staff in their roles.
  • Liaising with quality staff.
  • Supervise staff in line with our values.
  • Role model Rockit’s values in all your interactions.

What Rocks You

Full training is provided; just bring your positive attitude! We’re looking for:

  • Experience leading or supervising people, with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A positive, cooperative team player who brings a proactive, can-do attitude.
  • Able to meet the physical demands of the role, including manual handling and standing for extended periods.
  • Reliable, conscientious, and focused on getting the details right.
  • Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment would be an advantage.
