Chaplain – Chalmers Home – New Plymouth
Mō mātou - About us
Together, we make a lasting difference.
When you join Presbyterian Support Central (PSC), you’re becoming part of something truly special, a not-for-profit organisation that’s been helping people for more than 115 years.
Everything we do is about supporting people at the most vulnerable times of their lives, whether that’s an older person needing care and connection, or a family working through tough times. Chalmers Home provides a place of connection, compassion and understanding, our services cover rest home and hospital care. We are proud to be able to create a family environment that is warm and welcoming for all who spend time with us.
The residents of Chalmers Home tell us they love the friendly, vibrant and family-focused atmosphere. Of course, they love the beautiful views too.
Overlooking the Tasman Sea to the west and Mount Taranaki to the East, Chalmers Home has arguably one of the best rest home outlooks in the country. At Chalmers Home we embrace Enliven’s philosophy of care. That means we take every opportunity to make sure our Elders have companionship, spontaneity, fun, meaningful activity and a sense of purpose in their life here.
