About the role

As part of our strategic vision, we are undergoing a comprehensive digital technology transformation journey. We have an opportunity for an experienced Change Manager to join our Digital Business team at Craigs Investment Partners (CIP). This is a 12-month fixed term role ideally located in Tauranga but also open to the role being based in Auckland or Hamilton.

This role's primary responsibility will be to implement a change management plan and define strategies to maximise the successful implementation and adoption of business change across Craigs Investment Partners’ (CIP).  Reporting to the Head of Business Change this role will also help drive and successfully facilitate the delivery of business change as a key member of the Digital Business team. 

The key responsibilities for the Change Manager role will be to:

  • Play a key role in ensuring assigned projects and change initiatives meet CIP strategic objectives on time and on budget
  • Develop and enable fit for purpose change management approaches and plans for assigned projects /initiatives, aligned to the Craigs BCM Framework
  • Will work closely with Business Analysts and Project Managers while partnering with senior and business stakeholders to drive faster adoption, higher utilisation and proficiency with the change that impact CIP.
  • Provide direction from a change perspective, including planning, organizing, and controlling all aspects of the change workstreams across project initiatives.    

About you

You will have significant experience developing complex or interdependent change management plans, identifying change impacts, developing change interventions, monitor changes and reporting.  You will also have excellent conflict resolution and negotiation skills.

You will also have:

  • Strong experience in working in/with key change partners (e.g. People Development, Communications) to understand roles and responsibilities in the change process.
  • Good understanding of change management principles, techniques & tools 
  • Effective relationship management with the ability to work with/influence and negotiate with key stakeholders, understanding business requirements and formulating these into project change deliverables
  • Strategic thinker, innovative with commercial / business acumen, commercial and risk-based approach  
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the business, leading meeting and conducting presentations as required.
