About the Role:

We are looking for an inspiring Centre Manager to lead our team at BestStart Wolverton. 

Guided by our philosophy, Empowering minds to think, hands to create, and hearts to love!, we strive to create a nurturing and stimulating environment where tamariki are encouraged to explore, experiment, and problem-solve. 

As a high-impact leader reporting to an Area Manager, you will be passionate about delivering amazing learning outcomes for our children and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the centre. We are seeking someone with proven leadership experience, ideally around three years in a Centre Manager role. 

Being a great communicator and building fantastic relationships will be in your DNA, allowing you to foster strong connections with tamariki, families, and your team. If you’re ready to make a meaningful impact and lead with heart, we’d love to hear from you! 

This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week Monday-Friday

Role requirements:

Commit to making a difference in the lives of young learners with a team dedicated to excellence. We are looking for the following:

  • B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE) and current teacher certification
  • Strong understanding of  child-led curriculum, pedagogy and curriculum
  • Demonstrate good knowledge of the current ECE Regulations, Te Whariki and hold compliance in a high regard
  • A strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi through pedagogical practices
  • You’ll be known for being a  great coach, who can unlock the potential of others, you will have previous leadership experience
  • You are an innovator, both in input and output – being part of simplifying the way we do things excites you!
