About the Role
As a high-impact leader reporting to an Area Manager, you will be passionate about delivering exceptional learning outcomes and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the centre.
This role is ideal for someone ready to step into their first Centre Manager position, where you’ll be supported to grow your leadership capability while making a meaningful impact. You’ll be a strong communicator who builds trusting relationships with tamariki, whānau, and your team, while fostering a positive, high-performing culture.
This is a permanent full-time position (40 hours per week, Monday–Friday).
What we’re looking for
We’re seeking a leader who is committed to making a difference and inspiring excellence:
- BEd/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE) and current Teacher Certification
- Strong understanding of child-led curriculum and pedagogy
- Sound knowledge of ECE Regulations and Te Whāriki, with a focus on compliance
- Commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi in practice
- A skilled coach who can grow and empower others
- An innovative thinker who enjoys improving how things are done
