Shape the future at a centre where tamariki are at the heart of everything we do.

At BestStart Redwood, our dedicated Kaiako are passionate about delivering rich, meaningful learning experiences that recognise and support the mana of every tamaiti. Through a responsive curriculum grounded in language and cultural identity, we empower tamariki to explore, grow, and connect deeply with the world around them.

Our centre features three vibrant classrooms, large outdoor play areas, and a well-established, diverse team. These spaces and relationships create an environment where tamariki are supported to thrive through a balance of structured learning and self-directed exploration. From music and painting to inquiry-based play, we provide developmentally appropriate experiences that nurture creativity, confidence, and independence.

Our vision, As we grow together, we learn together, guides our commitment to growing respectful, resilient, and engaged learners. Children leave BestStart Redwood with a positive attitude towards learning, a thirst for knowledge, and a deep empathy for people, places, and things.
