About the Role

This is a permanent, full-time position (40 hours per week), leading the day-to-day operations of our centre while fostering a positive, high-performing team culture.

As our Centre Manager, you will:

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of dedicated kaiako.
  • Build meaningful relationships with tamariki, whānau, and the wider community.
  • Champion high-quality teaching and learning in line with our philosophy.
  • Grow team capability through coaching, support, and professional development.
  • Ensure excellence in curriculum delivery, compliance, planning, and centre operations.

About You

You'll be a confident and collaborative leader with a passion for early childhood education and developing others.

You'll also have:

  • A Level 7 ECE qualification and current New Zealand Teaching Certification.
  • Proven leadership experience (Centre Manager or Head Teacher experience preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of ECE regulations and Te Whāriki.
  • A commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and inclusive teaching practices.
