We’re excited to offer a 6-month secondment opportunity for an experienced Head Teacher or Centre Manager who’s ready to inspire and lead a passionate teaching team. About the Role:
As Centre Manager, you’ll step into a leadership role that’s as rewarding as it is challenging. You'll have the opportunity to shape the culture of the centre, build strong partnerships, and uplift your team with purpose and passion.

In this role, you will:

  • Inspire and lead a committed team of educators
  • Build strong, respectful relationships with tamariki, whānau, and kaiako
  • Champion high-quality teaching and learning practices
  • Coach and develop your team to achieve their full potential
  • Ensure compliance, curriculum, and planning are delivered with excellence
  • Lead with purpose, heart, and clarity every day

About You:

To be successful, you'll have:

  • A Level 7 ECE qualification and a current NZ Teaching Certification
  • Proven experience in leadership, ideally as a Centre Manager or Head Teacher
  • Sound knowledge of ECE regulations and Te Whāriki
  • A strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and inclusive practice
  • A growth mindset, coaching skills, and a passion for quality
