Centre Cook (BestStart Tawa South)
Start Here. Grow Here.
We are a culturally diverse centre located in a family-friendly suburb. With Redwood School nearby, we are part of a close-knit community and draw inspiration from our history, values, and the people around us. Introducing children to diversity at a young age helps open their mind about the world they live in. They develop an understanding and appreciation for the rich variety of experiences the world has to offer. Children develop the social skills to navigate themselves through the modern world with confidence and kindness.
We are looking for a passionate and reliable Cook to join our ECE centre. You will be responsible for preparing fresh, nutritious, and child-friendly meals and snacks while maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen compliance. The successful candidate will have basic computer skills, be organised, manage food supplies and dietary requirements, and work collaboratively with the teaching team.
