This is a permanent part-time position working 30 hours per week.
About the Role
As our Centre Cook, you will play an important part in supporting the wellbeing of our tamariki by preparing healthy, nourishing meals each day.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea with a focus on healthy and nutritious options
- Creating delicious, culturally diverse meals that support children’s growth and development
- Catering for a range of dietary needs and allergies
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen environment
- Using technology to design menus and manage weekly food orders
- Managing food supplies and working within a set budget
