The Role:
We are excited to welcome a passionate Centre Cook to our team! Whether you’re newly qualified or an experienced chef, if you have a love for creating nutritious meals that support children’s growth and wellbeing, this is the role for you. This permanent position is for 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
As our Centre Cook, you will:
- Plan, prepare, and serve morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea with a focus on nutrition and variety.
- Ensure meals are allergy-friendly, culturally diverse, and wonderfully delicious.
- Maintain high kitchen hygiene and safety standards.
- Manage food ordering efficiently within budget.
Role Requirements:
- A genuine passion for cooking and promoting healthy eating habits in young children.
- Solid knowledge of food safety, allergies, and special dietary needs.
- Basic computer skills for menu planning and ordering.
- A positive, team-oriented attitude dedicated to making a wonderful difference.
