We are looking for a passionate Centre Cook to join our team in a permanent part-time position, working 35 hours per week.
About the Role
In this rewarding role, you will:
- Prepare nutritious morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea for our tamariki
- Create varied and culturally inspired menus that support healthy growth and development
- Cater for a range of dietary requirements and allergies with care and attention
- Maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene
- Use technology to plan menus and manage food ordering
- Monitor food costs and work effectively within a set budget
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has a passion for preparing healthy, wholesome meals for children
- Understands the importance of nutrition in early childhood
- Has sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Is organised, reliable, and able to manage a busy kitchen environment
- Enjoys working as part of a supportive and collaborative team
