About the Role

At BestStart Riccarton Park, we’re right in the heart of the Riccarton community - just minutes from the city centre. Our team loves to get out and explore our community, building strong connections and bringing these experiences back into our rich, intentionally designed learning environment.

We are a passionate team that thrives on creating meaningful teaching moments for tamariki, and now we’re looking for a warm, organised, and proactive Centre Administrator to join us and help keep our centre running smoothly.

As our Centre Administrator, you’ll be the welcoming face of our centre and the key to making sure everything behind the scenes runs like clockwork. You’ll deliver outstanding customer service to our whānau while managing daily administration tasks with care and precision.

Your day will include:

  • Managing enrolments, bookings, and attendance records
  • Handling parent accounts, payments, and direct debits
  • Responding to whānau queries with warmth and professionalism
  • Maintaining accurate data and meeting key administrative deadlines
  • Supporting the centre team with communication, organisation, and general admin tasks
  • Occasionally spending time with our tamariki — the most rewarding part of the day!

You’ll also have the full support of our National Admin Support Team, including a helpdesk, training, and ongoing guidance to ensure you’re confident in your role.

This is a fixed term position from 12/1/26 to 11/9/26, working 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday. (8am - 2.30pm)
