About the Role

We are seeking an organised, friendly, and proactive Centre Administrator to support the daily operations of our centre. As the first point of contact for families, staff, and visitors, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming environment while ensuring smooth and efficient administrative processes behind the scenes.

This is a varied role where no two days are the same. Responsibilities include:

  • Providing outstanding customer service to our whānau
  • Managing bookings, data entry, and parent enquiries
  • Supporting new families through the enrolment process
  • Overseeing parent accounts, direct debits, payments, and account queries
  • Meeting daily, weekly, and termly administrative deadlines
  • Using your IT skills across Word, Excel, Outlook, and centre systems
  • Supporting tamariki during busy times when needed

You will also receive ongoing support from our National Admin Support Team, including helpdesk assistance. BestStart provides excellent training and induction around Ministry of Education requirements to ensure you feel confident in your role.

This is a permanent position working 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexibility for the right person.
