About the Role:
We are looking for an exceptional, well-organised, and approachable Centre Administrator to join our warm and welcoming team. This role is crucial to the success of our centre, helping us provide top-notch care and education for our children while ensuring compliance with Ministry of Education regulations..
Your responsibilities will include maintaining accurate parent accounts, processing direct debits, managing payments, and meeting daily, weekly, and term deadlines, requiring sharp organisational skills and attention to detail. Being comfortable with IT, especially Word and Excel, will help make your job easier, and occasionally, you'll have the chance to interact with the tamariki.
You'll also have the support of our National Admin Support team, which operates a helpdesk to assist Centre Administrators. BestStart offers strong procedures, training, and ongoing support to ensure you meet Ministry of Education requirements, with a comprehensive induction program to get you started.
This is a permanent role working either 9am-3pm or 9am-3.30pm Monday to Friday, you choose! (27.5 to 30 hours per week).
