At BestStart, we believe strong relationships are at the heart of everything we do. We are looking for a warm, organised, and professional Centre Administrator to join one of our welcoming centres in Palmerston North.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys building strong relationships with families, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in keeping systems and processes running smoothly. You will be a key part of the centre team and often the first point of contact for our whānau, helping to create a welcoming and supportive experience for everyone who walks through our doors.

In this varied role, you will:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to children, whānau, and visitors
  • Manage bookings, enrolments, enquiries, and parent queries
  • Maintain accurate parent accounts, direct debits, and payments
  • Meet daily, weekly, and termly administrative deadlines
  • Support centre systems and processes to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
  • Build strong relationships with families from a wide range of cultures and backgrounds
  • Work collaboratively alongside the Centre Manager and teaching team
  • Occasionally support our tamariki and centre where needed

This is a permanent position working between 30–35 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Flexibility to work a mixture of early and later starts across the week is important so you can connect with all families within the centre community.
