Cellar & Production Support
About the role
We’re looking for a new team member to join the 4.15pm – 2:30am, Monday to Thursday Shift as our Cellar and Production Support at our Hawke’s Bay plant. This role requires great work ethic, with an excellent attitude and dependability. This is a fast-paced role and we're looking for someone to hit the ground running while learning on the job. In this role you will be responsible supporting the night shift team, both on the production floor and with cellar responsibilities.
Cellar responsibilities include ensuring our clients wine is handled with care, from when it arrives on site to putting it in a bottle. This includes transfers, tank cleans, wine analysis, monitoring activities, accurately completing documentation, maintaining the cleaning schedule for the cellar equipment and meeting strict hygiene standards for human consumption.
Production floor responsibilities are about adding value to our client’s product. These include machine operation, manual tasks, and fork hoist operations to accurately turn wine into bottled product.

- Reliable, punctual, have a degree of flexibility and the ability to work overtime if necessary
- Physically fit, as this is an active job and you’re on your feet most of the time.
- Relentlessly driven, especially in quality with a great eye for detail, and a pride in getting it “right first time”
- Able to complete quality checks and process paperwork accurately
- Health and safety focused, doing things safely in an ever changing environment.
- Self-motivated to work alone most of the time, but flexible enough to work in a team, to assist others, and be able to ask for assistance when needed
