Catalyst Cloud are providing the cloud for Aotearoa. Our mission is to enable the growth of New Zealand's digital economy with state of the art cloud services delivered onshore.
About the role
As an intern you will learn what open source is all about and have an opportunity to contribute towards it. You will also have the chance to learn and contribute to a key piece of technology that lies at the foundation of modern IT infrastructure, as well as work with a team of local experts and an upstream open source community. You will have the option to gain technical skills in data centre management, solution architecture and IT monitoring as well as everyday skills; using Linux, Git and the command line .
Our Catalyst Cloud projects include development, monitoring, documentation and testing of the Cloud, as well as contributing to the toolchain used to keep our Cloud up and running. You will be surrounded by our team of experts and supported by senior technologists who are keen to share their expertise.

We will be considering applications from students currently enrolled in any undergraduate, graduate or postgraduate degree programmes at a New Zealand University.
