We are now seeking skilled and caring casual Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drugs Clinicians to join our team of employees that work at our Te Wairua (co-existing disorders) residential service based in Kamo, Whangarei. 

The ideal applicants will have:

  • Up to 1 years’ experience working with clients and their family/whānau in a social-services, addictions and/or mental health setting 
  • Relevant Level 7 qualification e.g.  in health science, social work, counselling or mental health
  • Registration or an interest in working towards registration as an AOD Practitioner
  • A willingness to learn about and embrace the Therapeutic Community (TC) model
  • Knowledge of Tikanga Māori and of Pacific cultural norms
  • Some skills in group and individual therapy
  • Great communication and relationship management skills
  • A full, clean NZ driver’s license

  • $33.21 to $38.17 per hour depending on experience, qualifications and registration
