Casual Mental Health & Alcohol and Other Drugs Clinician
We are now seeking skilled and caring casual Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drugs Clinicians to join our team of employees that work at our Te Wairua (co-existing disorders) residential service based in Kamo, Whangarei.
The ideal applicants will have:
- Up to 1 years’ experience working with clients and their family/whānau in a social-services, addictions and/or mental health setting
- Relevant Level 7 qualification e.g. in health science, social work, counselling or mental health
- Registration or an interest in working towards registration as an AOD Practitioner
- A willingness to learn about and embrace the Therapeutic Community (TC) model
- Knowledge of Tikanga Māori and of Pacific cultural norms
- Some skills in group and individual therapy
- Great communication and relationship management skills
- A full, clean NZ driver’s license

- $33.21 to $38.17 per hour depending on experience, qualifications and registration
