The Canterbury Jockey Club runs 31 thoroughbred race-meetings per year and has extensive park-like grounds and buildings which are also used for a range of non-racing activities such as weddings, functions and conferences. This full time role is part of the grounds team reporting to the Racecourse Manager. As a member of this team you will help to develop and maintaining the grounds and race track to a high industry standard.
This role requires a variety of skills including;
- Current drivers license
- The ability to work as part of a team
- Good level of fitness & energy
- Experience with farm type machinery
- Enjoy working in an outdoor environment
- Positive energetic attitude.
Must have the right to work in NZ An HT license would also be an advantage but not essential
