BestStart Richmond Kindy is seeking a passionate Caregiver to join our energetic and close-knit team.

About the Role

As a Caregiver at BestStart, you'll have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young children by providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where they can thrive.

Reporting to the Centre Manager and working alongside a dedicated team of teachers, you will help deliver high-quality care and education to our tamariki.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional care and education to tamariki
  • Support children's learning through engaging experiences and activities
  • Contribute positively to team culture and centre initiatives
  • Work across all classrooms and provide staff break cover when required
  • Support centre operations as needed

This is a permanent position working 18 hours per week across three days, offering a great opportunity for someone seeking a part-time role while making a positive impact in the lives of young children.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Have a genuine passion for working with young children
  • Have experience working with children under five years of age
  • Demonstrate a natural affinity with infants and toddlers
  • Show initiative and the ability to work independently
  • Be receptive to guidance and direction from team members

An ECE qualification is not required for this position.
