We are environmentally minded and our Localised Curriculum focuses on the partnerships of our community and local council as kaitiaki (guardians) of Te Inuwai Park which is located straight across the road from the centre.
BestStart Dixon Heights is seeking a passionate and experienced Caregiver to join our friendly and supportive teaching team in a permanent part-time position working 35 hours per week.

About the Role:
Working across our rooms, you’ll have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with tamariki and whānau while supporting children’s learning and development. We’re looking for someone who enjoys being part of a team, is flexible across different age groups, and brings initiative and a willingness to learn.
Role requirements:
We are looking for someone who:
- Has ECE experience or strong experience as a reliever
- Is a genuine team player who enjoys working across rooms
- Builds strong and meaningful relationships with tamariki and whānau
- Is open to learning and willing to take initiative
- Is warm, reliable, and flexible
- Has a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and wellbeing
