About Us:
At BestStart Dixon Heights, our centre vision "Love Me, Believe in Me, Teach Me" is at the heart of everything we do. Our curriculum is built on the foundation of strong relationships and meaningful connections between our dedicated staff, tamariki, and whānau.
We are currently looking for a passionate and nurturing caregiver to join our vibrant team. This is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing exceptional care and education to tamariki, nurturing their love for learning.
- Encouraging and empowering children’s learning through exciting and engaging activities.
- Actively participating in centre activities and assisting with staff breaks when necessary.
- Supporting the daily operations of the centre, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
What We Are Looking For:
- While an ECE qualification is not required, you must have experience working with children under five and a natural affinity for young children.
- A passion for supporting children’s growth and development.
- A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
- A positive attitude and eagerness to contribute to the ongoing success of the centre.
