Heritage Lifecare has rewarding caregiving opportunities available on a casual basis to join our dedicated team at Palms Lifecare and Village based in the heart of Pukekohe.

As a Caregiver at Palms Lifecare & Village, no two days will be the same, but you can be certain that each day you will leave work feeling fulfilled knowing that you’ve made a big difference in somebody else’s day. As a Caregiver, you will use your skills to:
- Work together in a team to provide a safe, caring, and supportive environment for our residents.
- Follow individual resident care plans.
- Form lasting relationships with residents and their whanāu | family.
- Adapt and support your wider team members to create a great team environment.

- A great team spirit with empathy and drive to make a difference in the lives of others.
- Good communication skills and the ability to clearly communicate with residents, their families and your team members.
- Be familiar with computers and have the ability to learn new systems.
- NZQA Level 2 Certificate in Health and Wellbeing, or a relevant New Zealand or overseas qualification would be preferred, but not essential Professional development opportunities are available for you to grow your career in the aged care industry.
- Experience within aged care would be beneficial, but not essential.
- Understanding of Nga Paerewa sectors standards and applying the Treaty of Waitangi standards in the workplace.
