Care Home and Village Manager
We are seeking an experienced, people-first business-led Care Home Manager to lead the teams to service excellence at Clutha Views Lifecare.
In this pivotal role, you'll lead the operations of our 72-bed Care Home and Hospital, and 8-unit Village - ensuring reliable, respectful and remarkable care for all our residents.
You’ll oversee all day-to-day operations, nurturing and developing staff, driving financial performance and, above all, ensuring a first-class resident experience. Supported by a dedicated Clinical Manager, your focus will be on operations and cultivating an environment where both residents and employees thrive.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing daily operations with a focus on quality, safety, and resident satisfaction
- Managing financial performance and identifying opportunities for growth
- Supporting the delivery of strategic planning, outcomes, and compliance standards
- Leading, coaching, and developing your team across multiple functions
Representing the Heritage Lifecare brand and developing strong community connection
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
- Experience in hands-on senior operational or branch management, with full P&L responsibility
- Strong business acumen
- A proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams
- Excellent interpersonal skills - you connect easily and lead with empathy
- Confidence in managing complexity, from staffing to budgets, planning and customer services
- A calm, solutions-focused approach
- Experience in or a strong understanding of the aged care industry in New Zealand would be beneficial.
- Understanding of Nga Paerewa sectors standards and committed to giving effect to Te Tiriti o Waitangi the Treaty of Waitangi in the workplace.
