As a Care Home Manager at St Joseph's, you will be responsible for the operations within the 87-bed dementia, hospital, and rest home to ensure the beautiful care facility remains a valued resource in the Hutt community. We are seeking an experienced operational manager with strong people management skills to lead a multiskilled team and drive operational growth. Reporting to a Regional Manager, you will be working collaboratively with an experienced Clinical Services Manager, and an administrator to achieve successful clinical and operational outcomes.  This is a highly rewarding opportunity to drive the delivery of high-level of care that brings a brighter day to residents and delivers operational success to our organisation.  Come lead our close, dedicated team, and be part of history in the making.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated people leader to be responsible for the overall operation and management of our care home, including the provision of quality care and financial management. You will provide effective leadership, commercial acumen, and be great at building relationships with all key stakeholders. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our residents receive the highest standard of care, promoting their well-being, and maintaining a warm and welcoming environment.

  •  Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  •  Commercial acumen and financial management.
  •  Clinical background preferred
  •  Excellent problem-solving, decision-making abilities and change management.
  •  A passion for caring for others. 
  •  Ideally, experience in Residential Aged Care, with a demonstrated track record of leadership and management.
