As the first independently owned private homecare agency established in New Zealand, we continue to work closely with our clients and their families to provide exceptional support in each person's private home. We have a history of providing excellent care to our clients and excellent support to our valued Caregivers.   We offer 24/7 care with a range of shifts to cover mornings, nights, sleepovers and wake overs , Monday to Sunday.   

We have an exciting and new opportunity in our Tauranga office and are looking for an experienced and organised Care Coordinator to join the team.  If you're a natural communicator, want to help others and enjoy building strong relationships, this could be the role for you!  This is a part-time office-based role, working 20 hours per week, (4 hours daily between the hours of 9am -4pm), Monday to Friday.  

In this role you will be responsible for the smooth coordination of daily rosters while supporting our carers and wider team with any administration/coordination requirements. Your ability to communicate effectively, stay organised, and work well under pressure will be key to your success.   

 Key Responsibilities

  • All day-to day rostering requirements, including changes and shift amendments
  • Be the first point of contact for all incoming calls, emails and enquiries from carers
  • Liaise with carers regarding availability, leave requests and general enquiries
  • Support the recruitment process by conducting face to face interviews within the region
  • Provide administrative support to the wider team when required

We are looking for someone who is highly organised, can manage competing priorities, and remain calm in a busy environment. You must have excellent attention to detail and take pride in providing outstanding customer service.   



Skills & Experience

  We would love to hear from you if you have:

  • Proven experience in an office-based role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and time management
  • Confident with rostering systems and administration
  • A background or understanding of the healthcare sector is preferred but not essential
