We are currently looking for a CAD Nesting Operator to play a critical role in our scheduling process.

About the role

In this role you will be responsible for assisting with the nesting of production parts (i.e. the process of laying out cutting patterns) to maximise utilisation of material and as such minimise raw material waste.

You will be great with numbers, have a keen eye for detail and love finding ways to make improvements. As this role involves working with various software, you will be technologically savvy and not afraid to learn new systems!

Your ability to communicate with others will be important, coordinating with leaders and providing support and troubleshooting to our router operators. 

About you

You will have:

• Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite of products
• Good literacy and numeracy skills
• Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• A great mind set for problem solving and continuous improvement
• Willingness to learn
• Experience using AutoCAD, Inventor and / or ProNest 2021 would be an advantage but is not essential
