About the Role
We’re looking for someone to assist with the nesting of production parts — the process of laying out cutting patterns to maximise material utilisation and minimise waste.
You’ll need to be great with numbers, have a sharp eye for detail, and enjoy finding ways to improve processes. This role involves working with various software, so being tech-savvy and open to learning new systems is essential.
Strong communication skills are key, as you’ll coordinate with team leaders and provide support and troubleshooting for our router operators.
About you
You will have:
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite of products
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- The ability to prioritise your time to meet deadlines
- A great mind set for problem solving and continuous improvement
- Willingness to learn
- Experience using AutoCAD, Inventor and / or ProNest 2021 would be an advantage but is not essential
