Manawatu and TRC Toyota have four stores based in Palmerston North, Feilding, Masterton and Levin, and TRC Tractors has a dealership in Feilding. 

Our single-minded aim is to provide all our customers with an experience that is second to none through our commitment to outstanding customer service. Critical in being able to do this we have a Business Support Team who look after all our stores administrative roles. 

What would you do in this role?

You would be running our awesome Business Support team of three people. Some of the areas you would be responsible for are below;

  • Overseeing and supporting the team daily with accounts payable and receivables, sales processing, daily payments required and whatever is needed for your team.
  • Monthly reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts.
  • Monthly preparing all accounts for month end processing 
  • Monthly review of profit and loss statements
  • Monthly G.S.T. & P.A.Y.E. returned for the group
  • Quarterly F.B.T. returns for the group
  • Prepare company accounts at year end for our external accountants.
  • Responsibility for the accurate delivery of information to our external accountants.
  • Provide admin support for all stores as required 
  • Identify projects or areas of improvement we could do within our business support team.
  • Daily journals as needed to reconcile stock on hand and accounts as required
  • Responsible for cash flow projections.

What experience and skills would you need to do this role?

  • Experience in administration and accounting of a business
  • A high level of computer literacy including spreadsheets & excel
  • A strong desire to learn and thoroughly understand all the processes your team do to be able to support them.
  • Experience in managing a team and maintaining a positive team culture
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Can work to deadlines and is very organised
  • Can perform well under pressure and manage workloads
  • And most importantly have a sense of humour and be very customer focused.

We need someone who is honest, honours confidentiality and believes in delivering great service for both our customers as well as our team of 120 staff.
