We’re seeking a passionate and pragmatic People Business Partner to join our close-knit People & Culture team.  

This role offers a unique opportunity to apply your expertise in a collaborative environment, partnering with senior leaders to deliver both strategic and operational initiatives that foster a flexible, supportive, and engaging workplace. 

As a key member of the team, you’ll support leaders across a portfolio of business units contributing to organisational design, workforce planning, and the development of tailored people strategies. You’ll also play a central role in guiding leaders through performance, employment relations and remuneration processes, ensuring alignment with our values and business goals. 

To succeed in this role, you’ll be a highly personable team player with strong commercial acumen and a demonstrable track record of producing high-quality results.  

You’ll also have:  

  • A high level of emotional intelligence and resilience, with the ability to drive change and adapt with agility. 
  • Experience developing strategic people plans and bringing them to life through practical implementation. 
  • Strong generalist HR experience including sound knowledge of the New Zealand Employment Law. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills including decision-making, influencing, negotiation, facilitating and coaching.  
  • An aptitude for building and maintaining strong, trusting working relationships with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. 
  • A positive mindset with to the ability to thrive in ambiguity along with a practical, humanistic approach to solving problems and delivering solutions. 

To succeed in this role, you’ll likely have: 

  • 2 years plus, experience in a Business Partner or similar Advisory role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or a similar related discipline.
