The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Business Insights Analyst to help shape our journey toward becoming a truly data-driven organisation. In this hands-on role, you’ll work closely with teams across the business to turn complex data into clear, meaningful insights that guide operational, financial, and strategic decisions.

Key focus: Power BI reporting, process improvement, data analysis, and stakeholder collaboration.

What You’ll Do

Reporting & Dashboarding

  • Build, maintain, and enhance reports using Power BI and Excel.
  • Partner with stakeholders to deliver decision-supporting dashboards.

Data Analysis & Insights

  • Analyse trends and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Deliver actionable insights with a strong focus on data accuracy.

Support Financial Processes

  • Assist with financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Help manage the Jedox financial planning system (training provided).

Ad Hoc Reporting & Stakeholder Support

  • Respond to custom data requests and performance reporting needs.
  • Provide training and maintain reporting documentation.

Process Improvement

  • Transition manual reports to automated solutions.
  • Identify ways to simplify and improve data processes.

What You’ll Bring

✔ Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, complex formulas)
✔ Experience with Power BI or other visualisation tools
✔ Strong data accuracy and attention to detail
✔ Ability to clearly communicate insights to both technical and non-technical users
✔ Collaborative, curious, and proactive approach

Bonus if you have:

  • Familiarity with financial reports or planning tools like Jedox
  • Experience in budgeting and forecasting
