The Role: This role is full-time permanent working 80 hours per fortnight  based in Palmerston North
The Applications Specialist is responsible for the administration, support, and continuous improvement of our business applications. This role acts as a key liaison between business stakeholders, internal teams, and external vendors to ensure applications are stable, fit-for-purpose, and aligned with organisational needs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Management and administrative support of the organisations core and secondary business systems/applications.
  • Facilitating business requirements gathering, change and release management.
  • Internal IS & T and Vendor engagement/coordination.


 Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years’ experience supporting and administering business applications (e.g., CRM, ERP, Commercial of the shelf platforms).
  • Familiarity and use of ticketing systems (e.g., Halo, ServiceNow, Jira)
  • Strong understanding of change management and release processes.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Experience working with third-party vendors and managing support relationships.
  • Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of data flows, integrations, and system dependencies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
