The Co-operative Bank is transforming its business. The purpose of this role is to contribute to the development and execution of the Bank’s Technology vision, strategy and roadmap.  This will in turn drive significant transformation throughout the organisation.

About the role:  

You will play a key part in developing the Co-operative Bank’s technology platforms and services, focusing on innovative solutions and continuous improvement to support customers and staff. Leveraging your knowledge of traditional banking processes and your desire for simplicity, you will drive the end-to-end development of new solutions. Your passion for product, understanding of customer needs, and commercial acumen will help create well-loved solutions. You will navigate ambiguity and provide clarity for people. Excellent communication skills will enable you to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders. Your focus on data will help you and your stakeholders prioritise work.  This is a full-time position based in our central Wellington office. 

You will bring: 

  • 3 –5 years' experience as a Business Analyst
  • Sound knowledge in 2-3 of these domains:
    • Cards & payments technical architecture
    • Lending practices, decision automation & legislation
    • Front end digital banking experience
    • Core banking systems
  • Previous experience in agile delivery in the context of large scale or complex projects
