Mō te tūranga - About the role
The nature of the work we do is all about being people-centred and this role will be focused on achieving good outcomes for our clients and residents through sound systems and processes for our teams who are supporting them.
Working as part of the Business Services team, this role provides administration support to a number of business areas including – Enliven, Family Works, Human Resources, Marketing, Property, Clinical Purchasing and the Senior Leadership team.
Your key tasks will include, but not be limited to:
- Prepare and edit correspondence, presentations, reports, policies and other essential documents.
- Collating month end reports and invoicing to funding partners
- Support the Senior Leadership Team as and when required including note taking, proof reading, project work and general administrative duties
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with the utmost discretion and professionalism.
- Book accommodation and assist Senior Leaders with travel and events.
- Maintain and update records, databases, and files to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
- Pack and ship orders from the Enliven shop.
- Ordering office supplies and ensuring the office is always well presented
- Answer phones, meet and greet visitors and monitor several inboxes

You will be a highly organised self-starter and natural relationship builder, who relishes working autonomously as well as contributing positively to a high performing team. You will need effective time management and forward planning to balance meeting deadlines and maintain a high standard of service. The ability to remain calm under pressure and thrive working with a diverse range of stakeholders is essential.
- A genuine interest in the purpose led sector, knowing that your mahi makes a difference to families in your community.
- Ability to apply judgement, flexibility and problem-solving skills to your workload.
- Positive ‘can-do’ attitude, happy to roll up your sleeves and rise to a challenge to work as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Good level of computer literacy and knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite. Experience working with databases would be advantageous.
- Ability to thrive in an environment where you need to regularly flex and adapt to respond to changing needs and priorities.
