We're looking for an experienced and people-focused Branch Manager to lead our Wellington Branch. This is an exciting opportunity to shape a high-performing team, create exceptional customer experiences, and make a meaningful impact in the communities we serve.
About the Role
As Branch Manager, you'll be responsible for leading the day-to-day success of the branch, creating an environment where our people thrive and our customers feel valued. You'll bring TSB's purpose and values to life by building a positive, customer-centric culture, driving business performance, and supporting your team to achieve their full potential.
This role offers the opportunity to combine strong leadership, operational excellence, and community engagement to deliver outstanding outcomes for both our customers and TSB.

In this role you will:
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing retail banking team through visible, hands-on leadership.
- Foster a positive and inclusive culture where people feel supported, connected, and empowered to succeed.
- Build strong relationships within the local community and identify opportunities to grow our customer base.
- Create clear performance expectations and support ongoing development and capability building across the team.
- Deliver outstanding customer outcomes while maintaining a strong focus on operational excellence and risk management.
- Proactively identify and escalate conduct, compliance, operational, and credit risks in line with TSB requirements.
- Champion TSB's values and contribute to creating a branch environment where both customers and team members can thrive.
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience leading teams and creating sustainable high-performance cultures.
- Strong retail banking experience with a sound understanding of branch operations.
- A track record of building meaningful customer, community, and stakeholder relationships.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and people leadership skills.
- A collaborative, customer-focused approach that aligns with TSB's values of People First, One Team, Integrity, Innovation, and Keeping it Simple.
- NZ Certificate in Financial Services (Level 5) is preferrable
