We currently operate two wood waste boilers, with a third due to be installed later this year. These boilers supply energy to three twin-track and two single-track continuous drying kilns, with our existing system capable of drying 160,000m³ of timber annually.

As production continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to take the lead on maintaining and enhancing our on-site kilns and boiler systems. While this is a largely independent role, you will be well supported by our wider maintenance team as needed. If you are proactive, skilled in kiln and boiler operations, and keen to advance your engineering career, this could be the opportunity you have been waiting for.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular maintenance, inspections, and diagnostics on boilers and kilns.
  • Troubleshoot and repair issues with boiler and kiln systems to ensure maximum efficiency.
  • Manage boilers and kilns compliance with appropriate regulations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer with specific expertise in maintaining and repairing boilers and kilns.
  • Strong skills in diagnostics, welding, machining, and general industrial maintenance.
  • A proactive, team-focused attitude with a desire to continuously improve.
  • Applicants must be currently residing in New Zealand and legally entitled to work.
  • Physically fit and able to work in a demanding industrial environment
