Board Member, Governance Role
Presbyterian Support Otago is the leading provider of aged care in Otago and is a significant supplier of social services to the people of our region. With over 800 staff and 550 volunteers, we are now seeking three new Board members to help shape the future of our organisation.

You are a respected citizen in the community, a person of integrity, with strong and diverse community links and networks. You have an affinity for our work and our mission. You are ready to give your time and expertise and can work collaboratively with a strong and high-profile team.
Ideally, you will be experienced in one or more of these key areas:
• Management and delivery of health services
• Finance and accounting
• Commercial and organisational management
About this position
Our Board members are volunteers appointed for their diverse skills, knowledge, and experience. You will help establish and plan the future direction of PSO, guided by its Vision, Mission and Values.
You will have a key role in monitoring the achievement of our strategic goals and objectives, and our financial viability. Board members also monitor PSO’s statutory responsibilities and have input into risk management.
We are entering a period of planned growth, and our Board is a vital part of implementing our financial sustainability strategies.
