Bidfood Taupo Account Manager
Bidfood Taupō is growing and has an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager who is ready to use their skills to help us stamp our mark in the Central North Island. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to take on a new challenge and grow with our team.
The Role
This is a permanent full-time role reporting to the Sales Manager. You will be working in partnership with your customers to grow their business and ours by increasing sales volume and ranging, ensuring sales are well executed.
You'll need to be an effective communicator and ideally have a background in account management with FMCG or Foodservice - but more importantly you are a people person with great communication skills with a passion for building strong relationships. This, along with your competitive edge and drive to meet targets, will ensure success in this role. Most importantly, you'll think strategically in your selling approach and understand your customers' needs - your forward-thinking approach will drive exceptional results for Bidfood Taupō and for your customers alike.

It's a busy role, and we'll expect you to fit a lot in to your day - so, you'll need to be well planned and efficient in your approach to your work, be flexible and adaptable to the various demands of the role. Finally, you'll have the ability to work autonomously, but will also be committed to supporting your wider team, going above and beyond to contribute effectively to team success.
Our site is based in Wharewaka, Taupō, and this role covers the Tūrangi, Central Plateau, and Taumarunui areas. Travel to the Taupō branch as and when required.
