You will be responsible for maintaining and enforcing our Host Responsibility procedures as well as assisting with Duty Manager Duties as and when required.

You’ll also play a key part in lifting the guest experience across our F&B outlets – Premium Lounge, Skylark Bar & Lounge, Monza Sports Bar and The Café – helping deliver the high-energy service standards our casino is known for.

The ideal candidates will have:

  • Leadership experience within a busy bar/restaurant environment
  • Sound knowledge of Beer, Wine and Spirits
  • Barista experience
  • Hold or be willing to obtain a Duty Manager licence
  • Proven team building and leadership skills
  • Ability to lead and train staff
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A collaborative and flexible approach

This role is primarily based around evenings and weekends but being flexible and having the ability to work a variety of shifts across our opening hours is key.

If you love the buzz of hospitality, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and want to build your career in a large multi-outlet casino operation, this is a role where you can really make your mark. With great people, constant variety, and exciting development opportunities, there’s never a dull moment at Christchurch Casino.

What’s in it for you?

  • A fantastic career opportunity in one of Christchurch’s best-known entertainment venues
  • On-the-job training and development to help grow your hospitality career
  • Paid meal breaks
  • Free uniform provided and laundered regularly
  • Fully subsidised medical insurance after 6 months of employment
  • A fun social club and team culture
  • Discounted car parking plus plenty more great perks
